Protests against Trump administration’s family separation policy as first lady weighs in

Democratic members of Congress arrived for an “unannounced inspection” of a New Jersey detention facility as protesters rallied the separation policy. In a statement, Melania Trump’s office said she “hates to see children separated from their families.”
